Case Problem 1 – Pelican Stores The textbook contains a series of case problems that highlight situations that real organizations could encounter and are related to the weekly learning activities. At the end of Chapter 2, read the Pelican Stores Case Study Please download the data set to solve the case study: PelicanStores.xlsx  Instructions: Write a two-page APA report answering the questions below. Do not just answer the questions, but use the questions to formulate your report. Your paper should demonstrate thoughtful consideration of the ideas and concepts presented in the course and provide new thoughts and insights relating directly to this topic. Your response should reflect scholarly writing and current APA standards. Be sure to adhere to University’s Academic Integrity Policy. Requirements of the assignment: All papers must follow all APA requirements including an abstract. (10% deduction if not) All papers must have a reference page.   The textbook is an acceptable source. Body of the paper 2 -3 pages, no more or less. Title page, abstract, and reference pages are required.  However, they do not count towards any page count. Writing should reflect an understanding of the chapter’s basic concepts, thorough research, and logic and critical thinking skills. The introduction is attention getting with sufficient background information to establish the topic and a clear thesis statement. The conclusion summarizes the main points and leaves the reader with a strong comprehension of the paper’s significance and the author’s understanding. Grammatically correct – No spelling, grammar, or mechanics errors. Do not use the first person. Critical Analysis    10 Points Student is able to clearly identify and critically analyze all required components and offers well-supported academic/professional evidence and conclusions that includes references to at least 5 outside sources. 8 Points Student is able to clearly identify each required component and offers some additional insight, presenting moderately-supported academic/professional evidence and conclusions that includes references to at least 5 outside sources. 6 Points Student briefly identifies and/or discusses most components, and/or offers minimally-supported academic/professional evidence and conclusions that includes references to fewer than 3 outside sources. 4 Points Student is missing multiple required components, and/or provides evidence and conclusions that is inaccurate or is not academically/professionally supported with no outside references. Formatting  10 Points Submission follows appropriate academic/professional style/mechanics. When appropriate, the submission follows APA 6th requirements, meets the minimum required length, with 1 inch margins, typed in 12 point Times New Roman font, provides proper citations when needed, and an appropriate title page. 8 Points Submission is missing at least one of the formatting requirements. 6 Points Submission is missing at least two formatting requirements. 4 Points Submission is missing several formatting requirements.
